Click anywhere on the desktop of your Mac computer to switch to the Finder application.
Go to the "File" menu at the top of the screen and choose "New Folder." A folder icon will appear on the screen and the text under the icon will be highlighted.
Type in a name for the folder and press "Enter" to save your selection.
Double-click on the new folder icon to open it.
Organize your files by dragging and dropping them into the new folder. You can also create folders within that folder.
How to save a bookmark:
Open to the webpage you’d like to save in a browser.
Click on “Bookmarks” on the top of the screen and click “Add bookmark”
You may add to either “Bookmark menu” or “Bookmark bar” (I recommend “Bookmark bar” for this class so it’s easy to find).
How to create a Google Doc:
Sign into your PND email.
Click on “Drive.”
Click the red “Create” button.
How to create stickies:
Open the Apple menu, then click on the Apps. Select Stickies. If a blank note doesn't appear, open the File menu and select New Note (or press Command-N).
Type your note, then move it to where you want it on the desktop.
To delete a sticky, click on the close box in the upper left corner.
To collapse a sticky temporarily, click on the collapse box in the upper left.
To resize a sticky, drag the lower right corner.
To hide all stickies: Click on the Application menu (icon in the upper right of your Mac's screen) and select Hide Stickies.
