Always include a subject in your email. For example, “Question on Romeo and Juliet” or “Short story attached.”
Make sure your e-mail includes a greeting and closing.
Remember to send attachments (if necessary) and to name them with your last name and assignment (for example, “Sitte short story”).
Type in complete sentences. Use proper punctuation (capitalize the first word of every sentence).
Do not abbreviate or use text message language.
Email example:
Dear Sally Sue,
Thank you for your email. Please finish your short story by Wednesday. You can turn it in by attaching it to an email.
Thanks. Have a nice day!
